Partnering with CDP Cities

At the recent C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group meeting in Sao Paulo, it was revealed that the world’s 40 largest cities have taken some 4,700 actions to combat climate change.

Recognizing that more must be done, Jones Lang LaSalle recently became a lead sponsor of the Carbon Disclosure
Project’s Cities program. CDP Cities hopes to do for the public sector what CDP has done for publicly traded companies: Provide a consistent platform for measuring and disclosing GHG emissions, water use and climate change strategies.

As a leading energy and sustainability advisor and services provider to major corporations, building owners and government entities around the world, Jones Lang LaSalle is in a unique position to advise CDP Cities on its questionnaire for cities to fill out. More important, we have the scope and expertise to help cities create and implement energy and sustainability programs that will help reduce environmental risks and foster economic growth in their area.
