JLL’s Property Management services made important achievements in Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro in the first half of 2015, increasing its office assets under management by nearly 500,000 sqm – a 27 percent growth.
In the capital city of Sao Paulo, JLL has assumed the property management of the West Towers.Winning the management of the West Towers is the result of our good relationship with NLS Incorporadora, a company that has also developed the West Side and West Point commercial buildings, both of which are under JLL management since 2007 and 2010, respectively. With a building area of over 93,000 sqm, two office towers and one multistory parking lot, the West Towers is the first commercial building development to be located at the entrance of Alphaville district. The development also includes spaces for restaurant, café and retail stores.
In Rio de Janeiro, Property Management began the year implementing the operation of five top office buildings: Eco Sapucaí, a commercial building designed by [renowned Brazilian architect] Oscar Niemeyer, with 86,000 sqm usable area; Vista Mauá, with a great location in Rio CBD and more than 20,000 sqm; Edifício Candelária 62, with 5,500 sqm; Botafogo Trade Center, with 8,083 sqm; and Edifício Seguradoras, which, in 2014, was advised by JLL’s Infrastructure Inspection, and, in 2015, chose to hire a professional condo manager and also to hire property management services.
In the segment of logistics parks, JLL has won the management of Parque Golgi Seropédica, which is located in the city of Seropédica and near to Presidente Dutra [interstate] road. This park will have an overall usable area of 240,000 sqm, 50,000 sqm of which have already been delivered and leased, with a further 34,000 sqm expected to be delivered in January 2016.
