Logistics market sees drop in vacancy and large movements | 2Q2021

According to JLL's First Look report, record absorption is expected in 2021.

The market for high-end logistics condominiums in Brazil remains strong. According to JLL's First Look report, large negotiations across the country and a net absorption of 426,000 m² in the period contributed to a new drop in the vacancy rate, 1.04 p.p. below the beginning of the year.

In all, around 395,000 m² of high-end logistics condominiums were delivered in the 2nd quarter. The perspective is that more than 1.6 million m² will be delivered in 2021, the highest volume in the last 5 years.

For the rest of the year, the fast pace of the market should remain, as well as the drop in vacancy, with stable prices.
