Rio's corporate market presents the best 1Q of the last five years | 1Q2022

Volume of negotiations generates optimism for performance in 2022.

May 13, 2022

The high-end corporate market in Rio de Janeiro confirmed the expectations generated since the end of last year and ended the first quarter of 2022 with the best performance of the last five years, surpassing the periods prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. According to the First Look report, gross absorption was 27.6% higher than in 4Q2021.

Despite the maintenance of the vacancy rate very close to that recorded in the last period, another indicator that generates positive expectations for the rest of the year is the drop in returns. In the first quarter of 2022, the volume was three times lower compared to 4Q2021 and 35.5% lower compared to 1Q2021.
