Class B office market ends 2022 with positive net absorption in Rio | 2H2022

Despite devolutions, the high volume of occupancies in the Centro and Orla regions boosted the carioca market to reach good rates.

Like the high-end corporate market, the class B office segment in Rio de Janeiro continues to show signs of recovery and positive rates. According to data provided by JLL's Research and Strategy team, in the second half of 2022 net absorption was 27,000 m² higher compared to the previous period.
