Vacancy rate for logistic warehouses continues to fall | 2Q2023

The state of São Paulo received the highest volume of new developments, with absorptions representing 55% of the total.

The market for logistics warehouses continues to record good results. The second quarter had gross absorption of 1 million sqm and net absorption of 654 thousand sqm. This performance made the vacancy rate retreat and close below 10%, according to the First Look, carried out by JLL.

São Paulo was responsible for 55% of new business, followed by Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro and Rio Grande do Sul. The sector that absorbed the most space was Logistics and Transport. In the sequence, appear Commerce and Retail and Industrial.

Guaranteed deals

The second semester promises to keep the positive movement. Of the 2.298 sqm expected to be delivered by the end of the year, around 23% has already been pre-leased.
