Last thursday (08/04), JLL held the first of a series of commemorative lives of the 25 years of the company in Brazil. And the topic was one of the most debated at the moment: the future of work, analyzing the main trends for offices and what impact they will have for companies and employees.

The event, mediated by journalist Debora Freitas, brought together Washington Botelho (president of the Corporate Solutions Division LatAm at JLL) and Luiz Candreva (head of Innovation at Ayoo), with special participation by Fábio Maceira (CEO Brazil of JLL), Roberta Hodara (specialist in Workplace & Change Management) and Alessandra Arnone (director of Tétris Brasil).

“Over the course of our first 25 years, we have witnessed several transformations. I joke saying that when we arrived, everything was undergrowth, but it has a little bit of truth. The buildings weren't smart, we didn't have a focus on people, the real estate market was different and the way we used the space was different. Many things have changed in 25 years and we can expect a lot of news ”, said JLL CEO Brazil, Fábio Maceira.

During the event, the guests addressed several aspects of the transformation that should occur in the coming years, from new technologies, some of them driven by the impacts of the pandemic, and others in a more natural way, changing the way people work and relate to spaces.

“I put in a sentence what I understand that, in some way, guides the perception of the future. The future is hybrid, formed by a resilient value chain, it demands flexibility and privileges human experience ”, summarized Washington Botelho, president of JLL's Corporate Solutions LatAm Division.
