Vacancy increases, but number of new business brings optimism for 2022 | 3Q 2021

Gross absorption records best result of 2021 in the third quarter.

The volume of companies absorbing high-end office space grew in São Paulo in the third quarter of the year, as shown by the First Look study. A gross absorption of 78 thousand m² was registered, resulting from 101 negotiations carried out

The regions of Faria Lima and Central Marginal stood out, with positive net absorption in the period. Shopee and Cescon Barrieu jointly leased around 13 thousand m² in Faria Lima. In the Central Marginal, several negotiations of smaller slabs resulted in a net absorption of more than 2,800 thousand m². Another highlight of the survey is the Berrini/Chucri region. The area registered the highest volume of gross absorption, with more than 13 thousand m² occupied in the third quarter of 2021.
